【第二步】觀察例句和情境搭配
先來觀察 say
《接小孩遲到的母女對話》
Child: Mom, you said you will be here at 5:00!! （媽咪，妳說妳會五點來的！）
Mom: OK OK, I said I’m sorry! (好啦，我已經說對不起了嘛！)
《聚會結束要離開了》Mom: (to child) We’re taking off. Say goodbye to everyone. （我們要走了，跟大家說掰掰）
Child: Goodbye~
《收到廣告宣傳單》
Child: Mommy, this ad says, if you take these pills, you will lose 10 kilos in 1 month! （這個廣告說，吃這個藥，一個月可以瘦十公斤耶！）
Mom: Wow, really? that’s amazing! （真假？那麼神！）
say 的單字記憶法
Say 常用搭配就是 say something，這個 something 可以是一個字 (say goodbye) 或是一件事情 (said you will be here at 5:00)。
回到字典字義：to express a thought, opinion or suggestion 「說」一個想法或資訊。
Say 也可以有一個說的對象，但就要用 say something to someone 加上 to someone，表達對誰說。
再來觀察 tell
《面試時》
Interviewer: Tell me about yourself. （介紹一下你自己。）
Interviewee: Uh…Uh……I’m Kelly. （呃…呃……我叫Kelly。）
《爺爺想要回憶豐功偉業》
Grandpa: Come here and let me tell you about my glorious past! The year was 1942…（來！爺爺要跟你們講我當年的事蹟，那年是1942……）
Grandkids: Zzzzzz…….
tell 單字記憶法
tell 是「跟某人說什麼事情、給予資訊或指示」，所以通常用法會是 ”tell someone about something。tell / say 同樣可以是在講某一個資訊，但是 tell 更有「跟誰說」的意味。
接著觀察 talk
《接到怪怪電話》
Me: Who are you talking to? （妳在跟誰說話？）
Granny: Phone scam. （詐騙電話。）
《閨密聚會》
Bestie 1: Hey, what are you guys talking about? （嘿，你們在聊什麼？）
Bestie 2: We are talking about J. Lo and Ben Affleck getting married!（我們在講J. Lo 和班艾佛列克結婚了！）
talk 單字記憶法
talk 很常用法之一是「跟某人講話 talk to sb.」，後面接一個講話對象。
當要當作「聊、談論某事」時，常常會搭配 talk about…，回到字典釋義，就是 to communicate or exchange ideas or information by speaking
最後觀察 speak
《客訴》
Customer: Can I speak to your manager? （我想找你們經理（反應抱怨））
Staff: I’m the manager. Do you need to speak to me?（我就是經理，你需要找我（跟我講話）嗎？
speak 單字記憶法
speak 從以上用法看來滿像talk的，不過 speak 常常用在比較正式的場合，例如對客人或客訴的時候。
學英文很多時候都要用情境記憶喔，記好常見的搭配方法，會讓你學起來更輕鬆！
